The specific purpose of the trail camera roof is to provide protection against rain, snow, and direct sunlight. This keeps the camera's detection performance stable under changing conditions. Water and snow runoff as well as reduced sun glare support successful image capture. The 3D printing process creates a functional design that is lightweight and highly accurate, tailored for practical use.

Material & Design

The trail camera roof is made of PETG. The material is dimensionally stable, moisture-resistant, and suitable for long-term outdoor use.

The slip-on versions fit the specified cameras; it is adapted to the camera's contour and is pushed on. The universal versions are designed for metal protective housings and are held in place by magnets. The standard universal roof has been tested with ICU and Zeiss housings; there is now also a large universal roof optimized for Seissiger camera metal housings and a version for the Spypoint SB500s housing.
